As we strive to grow in our daily Christian walk we focus on helping each other to remain faithful to daily Bible studies, lectio divina, and book studies. In addition to our reading we have all adopted the discipline of daily quiet times to open ourselves to listen to God. The contemplative life is one of importance to our members. During Advent and Lent we take on a special study that we each work on at home during the week and then we spend half an hour on Sunday after service sharing and talking about the material. "Bad Girls", our women's study group, meets on Tuesdays every other week. We bring a brown bag lunch and study a wide variety of Bible Studies, Christian Books and topical studies. |
