Sunday fellowship, with coffee and fresh homemade pastries, are a weekly happening after services. This time offers everyone an opportunity to catch up with each other and to share the work that God has done during the past week of everyone's lives. We have potlucks year round at various members' homes to celebrate holidays, birthdays, anniversaries and other special events. Our summer fellowship highlight is a river breakfast cookout. We meet at a designated area on the Rio Grande River on a Saturday morning to give thanks for and share in God's magnificent creation of outdoor beauty and scenery. The breakfast fare varies but usually includes bacon, biscuits cooked over the fire with gravy, eggs potatoes and all the "fixins". This is just one of our events that we invite the unchurched and members of other Episcopal Churches nearby to join us. |
